DR. LY HOANG ROBERTS

 

Ly Hoang Roberts, MD is a board certified urologist, specializing in Urogynecology (aka Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery). A proud graduate of Texas Academy of Math and Science (TAMS, ’08), she completed her BS in Biochemistry and minor in Global Health Technology at Rice University (’11). After finishing medical school (’15) and Urology residency (’20) at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, she completed a 2-yr ACGME accredited fellowship in Urogynecology at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan (’22). She then joined the Cleveland Clinic as assistant professor in Urology, where she led numerous research studies as principal investigators and developed innovative techniques in the fields of robotic surgery, prolapse, voiding dysfunction, and pudendal neuralgia. A passionate scientist, she has authored many articles and book chapters, and have presented her work at both national and international conferences, including the American Urological Association (AUA), European Urological Association (EAU), International Urogynecology Association (IUGA), Society of Urodynamics and Female Urology (SUFU), and Cairo University Conference (CUC). Besides being a wife and a mother of 2, advocating for women’s health both locally in Nashville and internationally via mission trips is her life’s calling.
